Birthday, Dance and graduation, oh my!

May was a big month for Paisley.....She turned 5 years old, had her year end dance recital and graduated pre-school!!!

Paisley had her first friend birthday party this year and she wanted it at a place called Monkey Island, just a place filled with inflatable bouncers and obstacles.  She invited all her cousins and 5 friends.  We later had cake and ice cream with family and it was decorated like hello kitty- the newest craze in our house with the girls.
A little on Paisley at age 5:
Paisley is the biggest animal fan around, she absolutely loves dogs, mostly small ones she can pick up and carry, she owns a TON of stuffed animals and sleeps with about 4-5 every night.
She is a very tender hearted little girl and adores and loves her sister Avery, they still have their fights, but what sisters don't:)
She can now ride a bike without training wheels, she learned in 1 day and picked it up so fast and is a little pro at it.
Every time she gives us kisses before bed or when we leave grandparents she always kisses in a certain order- once on the lips and then once on each cheek, I don't know where she picked this up from but has always gave kisses that way.
She enjoys getting and having her hair done- I'm not just saying that because I love to do little girls hair, she has a fit if we ever have to leave the house without her hair done(I may have created a monster:)
She is very excited and ready to start kindergarten this fall, me not so much:(  I had a hard time just getting her registered, I honestly thought about home schooling her!  I can't imagine my little girl in a big school and taking a bus!  So scary for me:)
She is an amazing little artist!  At age 2 she was coloring in the lines and now she draws the best pictures and colors awesome- she's just all around so creative!  Her pre-school teachers gave her the "most amazing artist award" in school and constantly talked about how nice and neat her artwork always was.  She is a little perfectionist!
She cracks us up constantly, she has a dry sense of humor at times that we find hilarious, but she is so serious about it.  We just love her to pieces!!!

It's A Girl!!

Well I guess we can only have girls!!  I don't mind to terribly much, but Tyler I'm sure is a little disappointed and I know Paisley is very disappointed.  She automatically assumes that all sisters are alike, and let's just say Avery is a little firecracker!  I am getting use to the idea of 3 girls, and am excited!  She is due Sept. 2nd but is already measuring in the 85% and is already 1lb 1oz, I asked if it meant my due date would be moved up, but no chance at that:(  I will just have to prepare for another 8lb-er or bigger!  I've been super sick until about 4 weeks ago and started feeling much better, minus the lack of energy.  Here is a picture of the little lady, and might I add flexible lady!  That is her foot all the way up past her head, the doctor thought it was hilarious that she was in such a tight little ball.

Paisley's Christmas Program

Pais had her little dance program at dance last week and she did great!! She loves to dance and it is so cute to see her progress in just the past 2 years of taking dance. Her little class showed us the technique they have learned so far this year, and then they did a little dance to "Up on the house top" They also learned "silent night" in sign language. Avery kept saying how beautiful the little girls were:) I would love to see Paisley stick with dancing, she is just so fun and cute to watch!

Perfect first position form:)

Avery turned 2!!

Avery turned 2 on Oct. 24th....I have been slacking in my blogging, so here are the highlights of Avery at 2 years old!!!
She had a Halloween themed birthday party, and the kids got to dress up in their costumes.  Avery was Tinkerbell, who she absolutely LOVES!!  Avery is such a sweet and crazy little girl, she always has us laughing!  She can be a little rough, especially with Paisley, but for the most part is loving and kind.  She loves, loves, loves anything girlie, she is always trying to get family to give her their necklace or bracelets or rings.  I have to hide my jewelry from her or else she would have it on all day long!  She loves to play with Paisley, some days they are the best of friends, and others not so much;)  She loves princesses and especially dressing up like one.  Not a day goes by that she doesn't have on a dress-up and high heal shoes.  She is most definitely a mama's girl.  Where ever I am she is not too far behind.  At home she is always hanging on me somehow.  She loves dancing and singing, it is so funny and cute to watch her and Pais put on little dance shows for us.  She hates the potty!  And will NOT be talked into doing anything she does not want to do!  She has a strong personality.  Avery is in the 89% for her height, so yes she is way tall, almost as tall as Paisley!!!  We thinks she is just so smart and sweet and we love her to pieces!!
Trying to show me #2 on her fingers:)
                                                               Painting pumpkins!!
She enjoyed the pinata, especially when candy came out- her most favorite food;)
Avery and Brooklyn awaiting the presents!
She got so excited to see the necklace, bracelets and rings she received
Blowing out the candles on her cute little pumpkin cake(it was delicious!)
Rings- check, necklace- check, bracelets- check, purse- check, Binki- check
(what more does a girl need?!)

Paisley is 4 years old!!!

(Avery was a little sad she didn't get presents;)

I totally dropped the ball on posting Paisley's 4th birthday when it was actually her birthday:( But yes she is 4! I can hardly believe it has been 4 years, and that she will be attending pre-school this fall. She is growing up way to fast, but she doesn't seem to mind, she is so anxious to get big! We always tell her to stop growing and she gets so serious and says that she wants to. Paisley has such a sweet personality and is very loving, a little sensitive, but what girl isn't:) She is very concerned for her little sis Avery, anytime Avery is being watched and I have Paisley she always asks how I think Avery is doing, and is always looking out for her when playing outside or with friends. For her birthday we had a family party just at our house, because the weather was so bad. She wanted a princess party with an Ariel cake, so my mom and I attempted the cake and it turned out OK:) We love you Pais!!
About Paisley at age 4:

*LOVES Dance

*Loves puppies still
*Thinks she is a princess
*Knows most her letters and numbers
*Can read snug house bug house book from memory

Our little vacation

Has it really been 6 months since my last post?!! Well we have missed out on a lot of major postings, and I'm not going to post it all, I think that would kill me, so I am just going to pick up right here.....
Me and the girls along with my family went to St. George for the weekend, Tyler was of course out of town working:( But we still had fun! It was really nice the first few days we were there and was hot! We went hiking, played at the park and went swimming.
The main reason we went was to go to my niece, Ashlee's Baptism. It was very special, and Paisley was very interested in the entire experience, and looks forward to being baptized when she turns 8!

Avery and her cousin Brooklyn, not twin(everyone asks if they are twins) on the slide

Ave pushing Paisley on the swing
My little sweetheart!
My wild child! She truly is the wildest thing I have ever seen, Paisley and I renamed her to-Wild Wilda(hope daddy doesn't mind:)
Paisley on the hike with her new shades!!

After we got back I decided to bring the car seats in for some much needed cleaning and after the long car ride in them they still insisted on eating dinner sitting in their seats!

Halloween

Here are the few pictures of our Halloween. Avery no longer sits still long enough for a picture and while I was trying to get her to hold still my camera was dying....ah the drama of a camera! Paisley was of course a princess, she was the little mermaid and Avery was a lady bug, I decided she had to be some kind of bug since we call her "buggins" most of the time:) We went to my moms for our traditional chili dinner then came back to our house where we went trick or treating with Tyler's side of the fam. That was fun for both kids at first, every time Avery got a piece of candy in her bucket she would say mmm mmm. Then the girls realized how cold it was when we were on the other side of the neighborhood and decided to just cry until they were home and warm. Overall it was a fun day.
