Time is flying! Avery went in for her 4 month check-up last week. The doctor said she is healthy, a little on the thin side, but doing great....Avery is 12 lbs. which is in the 20% for babies her age. Her height is 26 inches and is in the 97% Her head is in the 30% So pretty much she is tall and skinny, and I am already finding clothes hard to fit her, all the 3-6 month clothes fit her height but not around her skinny little waist. She is sure to pass her big sis up in the next year if she keeps growing tall! The doctor told me that 4 month olds are his favorite critter around, but I have to disagree. She absolutely wont let us out of her site for very long!Some of the things Avery is doing(and not doing).....
-She is very opinionated with her screaming voice
-Hates to lie down, whenever she is lying on her back she lifts her head up to look around(it looks like she is doing crunches)
-Loves to watch Paisley jump and play around
-Screams whenever I leave the room
-Giggles at us, and is ticklish
-Has rolled over a few times, but like I said doesn't like to lay down
-Does NOT sleep through the night(longest time block is 7 hrs in the night)
-Can hold toys for a few minutes
-Drools like crazy!
-Always has her hands in her mouth
It is so amazing how different each child is. I was expecting Avery to act and be just like Paisley was when she was a baby, but I was way wrong. It is so fun to watch Avery grow and develop, and to look at the little personality differences.

Mckell she is so cute!! Brooklyn did not sleep through the night until she was 9 months old... I hope that Avery will sleep through the night before then! Avery is an absolute doll!
Love the picture with Pais giving Avery a kiss...too precious. I have found that with my baby, if I feed him around 7:00 - take him out to go potty - rub his belly for a minute - then put him in his kennel, he sleeps right through the night...and he is only 10 weeks old...of course, he is also a puppy! Sorry, I'm no help! That is why being the aunt is the BEST! It was sure great to see everyone over the holiday weekend. Hope you are feeling better.
They are both GORGEOUS! I am happy to hear she is doing so well. She is darling!
I need to see me favorite hendricksen girls asap! its been like....a week! haha! Im sure Mason wants to play with Paisley. I cant believe how big Avery has gotten. She's so sticken cute!! All I have to say is good luck with the NOT sleeping through the night thing. Cause I know how that was!!
Mckell, all of a sudden I just became baby hungry! (not from the fact that Avery does not sleep in the night..LOL) but because of all the cute little personality traits that you mentioned she has! I want one now!!
Wow where did your little new born go? She grew up so fast. What a cutie you guys have. I love the last picture it is priceless.
She is super cute!!! And going to pass Brooklyn up soon, my poor kids and their short legs:)
