Farewell to Uncle Kyle!

Tyler's brother Kyle went to the MTC on Wednesday. He will be serving his mission in San Jose, California. Paisley loves Kyle, she was so cute giving him a hug and a kiss and saying "love you" It was sad to see him go, but he will be an amazing missionary! We love you Kyle!

Finally she has HAIR!!! (well sort of)

So yesterday, I got very bored waiting for the super bowl to start, so I decided to take Pais upstairs and experiment with her hair. I usually just wet it all down and then put a little pony tail on top and scrunch the back of her hair to bring out some of the natural curl she has in it. For those who know me well, I love doing little girls hair! When I was younger I would go babysitting and spend a lot of the time trying out new hair styles on the girls I babysat. I was in heaven when my sister April had a girl. Poor Mckinley was always the victim in my crazy hair ideas, though most of them I must say turned out cute.

Since Paisley was born I have been waiting and waiting for her to finally get some hair for me to do, and of course I had a little girl with no hair and slow growing at that! I love the baby bows and all but I especially love acutally doing hair. It's not very thick right now but, these are some pictures of her hair that I flipped out with my flat iron.............

Maybe by her 2nd birthday (which is in a few months) she will be able to have piggy tales, we have our fingers crossed!

I am officially a scentsy distributor

What is Scentsy? The best thing to happen since candles! an impressively fragrant wickless candle bar that is warmed in a warmer rather than burned with a flame. Scentsy is safe enough to leave on 24/7. The base of the Scentsy has a 5 watt light bulb that melts wax that is placed in the dish. The special wax Scentsy uses gets about 1 degree hotter than your body temp. so it won't burn children if they get into it. There are a lot of different warmers to choose from, and over 80 different scents.

I am available to do parties, or if you would just like to purchase a Scentsy or Scentsy products visit me at my wesite... www.cassiemckell@juno.com or www.scentsy.com/5156

My possessed child

So, Paisley had this sickness called hand, foot and mouth. It is blister sores that cover the inside of the mouth and the hands and the feet (hence the name!) It is said to be very painful, so the doctor prescribed liquid lortab for the pain, which is very nice for Tyler and I so we can get some sleep from a screaming child, but not so much for Paisley. She kind of had a crazy moment the other night.... I wish I could have recorded the biginning but only turned the camera on for the end to capture this.....

All is well now and Paisley is no longer sick!

Paisley is 18 months!!!

Paisley just turned 18 months this month. She is so loving and full of energy. I didn't think I could love someone so much, she brings so much joy into mine and Tyler's life. She has just recently become a mommy's girl. Everywhere I go, there she is right behind me. My little shadow. We did Paisley's pictures for her 18 month mile stone. You can't tell in these cute little pictures, but she was actually very unhappy with the man taking her pictures. Luckily my niece Mckinley came along to help. So while Paisley was in tears not wanting to pose for pictures, the photographer asked if he could pick Mckinley up and swing her toward and away from Paisley airplane style to make her laugh. So I was on the side of Paisley wiping away tears and Mckinley would come swooping in. So in the end we got cute pictures! Thanks Mckinley! We are so excited to watch Paisley grow into a beautiful little girl.

Paisley at 5 months! How time flies.
