Hunting Season (sigh)

Well it's that time of year again and as usual I had my hopes up for no success, but I was wrong!
He is pretty excited about getting it, especially since it was the bow hunt. We have lots of deer meat, that I won't be eating. He cut it all up himself, I was pretty impressed and Paisley I'm sure was horrified at the sight of it, but she keeps asking Tyler when we are going to eat deer meat. When they do eat it I will be having something else.....

Camping at Starvation

We went camping this past week with Tyler's family to starvation. It was our first and only camping trip this summer, but it was fun. Paisley enjoyed camping, pretty much anything to do with outside she enjoys. We couldn't stop laughing at her the entire time, she was quite the entertainment. Her favorite thing was to throw rocks in the water and dig in the sand. Tyler's mom taught her a song every time she threw rocks in the water.....she sang, "plop, plop fizz, fizz oh what a relief it is" It was hilarious. She even went tubing, she definitely took after Tyler liking the water so much, because I sure don't! Maybe someday someone will get me in the water.

2 year pictures

I finally got Paisley's 2 year pictures done. Paisley has grown up so much since she turned 2 in May! She is pottytrained!!!! I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it in the summer since there is usually a lot going on, but I went to the store and bought her Dora panties and that was it, she decided she didn't want to wear diapers anymore. There has been only one acciedent and she usually wakes up dry from sleeping. Wow I didn't think she would be so easy. I just hope when the baby comes she doesn't decide she wants diapers again. One thing Paisley absolutely loves doing is to sing, every night we go through 7 songs before she will go to bed, and the last song is "you are my sunshine" which my mom says I loved to sing over and over with her when I was young. She is such a joy to be around(most of the time) she is definately 2 with an attitude! We love you Pais!

It's another girl!

No pictures to post this time but just thought I would share that we went to our ultrasound today and found out it is definately going to be another girl. I am very excited to have a sister for Paisley! I guess Tyler will have to wait a little longer for that boy:)

Paisley turns 2!

I know it has been sooooo long since I have updated my blog. Most of you have probably stopped looking because you know it is the same old thing. Given an event like Paisley's 2nd birthday I just HAD to update it, so here it is! Paisley turned 2 today, I can't believe I have a 2 year old! She looks and acts so much different today to me. We love her a lot!

We celebrated her birthday with family yesterday. We had a puppy party. She absolutely loves dogs, no matter their size, she is not afraid. We had a dog pinata, and I attempted to make puppy cupcakes for everyone but only got six out, they were very time consuming, so all the kids got one and the adults just got plain old cupcakes. We bought her a potty training baby in hopes that she will get motivated. Well actually to get me motivated I guess. She asks to go potty all the time, but I tell her just go cause she has a diaper on, I should be better at that I guess. She has the potty, the next step is pull ups.
